Dr. Ron Davidson is a founding partner and managing director of TAP M&A. He has been involved in more than 50 transactions during his career as an investment banker and transaction advisor.
Prior to founding TAP M&A in 2014, Dr. Davidson was Managing Director of an investment bank where he built the middle market business. He began his corporate finance career at KPMG, most recently as an authorized signatory. He was also involved as co-founder and managing director of an ebook company. He received his diploma in business administration from the University of Regensburg, where he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Finance.
Dr. Davidson has outstanding knowledge of business valuation and is multilingual (German, English, Hebrew and French).
Gerhard Friedel holds a degree in economics from the University of Augsburg. He has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of auditing and in particular corporate finance from his work with renowned German and international commercial banks as well as alternative debt capital providers.
He is an expert in the financing of German SMEs across all industries and situations and has a correspondingly broad network with equity, debt and mezzanine capital providers.
Gerhard Friedel speaks German, English and Italian.
Dr. Ulrich Scheipers has been active in the international medical technology industry for over 15 years. He has accompanied the development of complex medical products throughout the entire product lifecycle, from early research stages, through clinical trials, to certification, commercialization and B2C/B2B sales.
His current focus is on mergers & acquisitions, business development and strategy. Dr. Scheipers is an electrical engineer and holds a PhD in pattern recognition and artificial intelligence in radiology. He has worked in numerous disciplines in medical technology. These include cardiology, radiotherapy, orthopedics, cardiac surgery, emergency medicine, dental technology, surgical processes and equipment, and general capital equipment for hospitals.
Dr. Scheipers has a large international network in medical technology and is multilingual (German, English, French and Spanish).
Tina Umbach holds a degree in business administration (University of Cologne). She gained many years of corporate finance experience at KPMG. Subsequently, as Senior Manager, she drove the implementation of Media Saturn's European expansion strategy before co-founding "stilrad" as an entrepreneur.
In the last few years, Ms. Umbach has supported start-up companies in particular. In addition, retail companies are another focus of her consulting.
Ms. Umbach speaks German, English and French.
Prof. Dr. Florian Wiedemann has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and transaction advisory, among others as Managing Director of a global investment bank and Director at KPMG Corporate Finance. He holds a PhD from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a professorship in General Business Administration, in particular Financing at FOM University.
Prof. Wiedemann has a large international network of financial investors and family offices. He is himself an angel investor in several start-ups and acted as interim CFO in various growth companies.
He speaks German, English and French.
Dr. Liming Ge holds a PhD in chemistry from Harvard University and an MBA from European University Business College. As an investment banker and transaction advisor, he has advised on over 20 transactions, mostly biotech and Asia related.
In the past, he has also led several German biotech companies over the years and established a corresponding European network in biotech and pharma.
The main focus of his consulting work is cross-border deal initiation and support.
Dr. Ge is multilingual (Chinese, German, English).
Noam Davidson, IT-Expert
Noam Davidson is an IT expert and partner at TAP M&A.
In the course of his career, he has successfully advised numerous international companies in IT. His technical expertise covers, for example, ERP systems, integration platforms and cloud computing. Mr. Davidson studied computer science at LMU Munich and completed his MBA at IDC Herzliya in Israel. Among other things, he was the founder and CTO of an ebook company.
Noam Davidson is multilingual (German, English, Hebrew).

SPH has developed a ground-breaking high-temperature heat pump technology. With temperatures of 165° Celsius and more, the systems are hotter and more efficient than conventional industrial heat pumps. The international Spirax Group, the world's leading provider of vapour energy solutions, was acquired as a strategic investor.
